Milan Fashion Week in September 2025 was a celebration of refined femininity, and the Genny Spring Summer 2026 show captured that spirit beautifully. Known for its modern Italian elegance, Genny once again delivered a collection that balanced strength and softness. A quiet confidence came through in the fluid silhouettes, impeccable tailoring and luminous fabrics.
Attending the show was a true highlight of my Milan schedule, not only because of the collection itself, but also because it was the perfect moment to wear one of Genny’s own creations and fully embrace the brand’s aesthetic.
My Look for the Genny Show
For the show, I chose a Genny mini dress with an applied cape detail. It is a sculptural yet delicate piece that moves beautifully with the body. The soft nude peach tone felt perfectly in sync with the collection’s palette and the late summer light of Milan. The cape overlay added drama without heaviness and created an elegant silhouette that felt both modern and timeless.
I paired the dress with Jimmy Choo Azie 85 sandals in gold, which added just the right amount of glamour. The metallic finish caught the light with every step, while the sculptural heel and delicate straps kept the look feminine and refined. They were ideal for moving between shows, cars and cameras.
To complete the outfit, I carried my Celine Clea crossbody bag in beige with a gold chain. The warm beige tone complemented the dress perfectly, while the gold hardware echoed the shine of my shoes and jewelry.
On my wrist, I wore the Dior Petit CD Jolie bracelet, a delicate yet distinctive piece that added a final touch of Parisian elegance. I love how understated jewelry can elevate an entire look and this bracelet did exactly that.

Inside the Genny SS26 Show
The Genny show itself was a masterclass in effortless Italian sophistication. The collection explored the idea of modern femininity, powerful yet graceful, structured yet fluid.
Soft tailoring, architectural draping and sheer layers defined many of the looks, while the color palette was built around creamy neutrals, warm blush tones, sun faded pastels and subtle touches of gold.
Fabrics flowed around the body with ease, creating movement and lightness, while precise cuts and strong shoulders gave the silhouettes structure. It was a beautiful contrast of strength and softness, sensual without ever feeling excessive.
Details played a key role throughout the collection. Subtle cut outs, elegant capes, refined embroidery and perfectly placed volume added depth and character to each look. The woman envisioned by Genny for Spring Summer 2026 is confident, independent and quietly magnetic. She does not need to demand attention, it naturally follows her.

Why Genny Always Feels Right in Milan
There is something incredibly authentic about wearing Genny to a Genny show in Milan. The brand embodies a very specific kind of Italian elegance that feels both luxurious and wearable. It is not about being loud, it is about being assured, polished and feminine in a very modern way.
This season especially, the collection felt perfectly aligned with how women want to dress now. Beautiful, comfortable, powerful and refined, without trying too hard.
Final Thoughts
The Genny show was one of those moments that reminded me why I love fashion. Not just for the clothes, but for the atmosphere, the creativity and the feeling of stepping into a world where beauty and craftsmanship still matter deeply.
Wearing Genny, walking into the show and seeing that vision unfold on the runway felt like a full circle moment and one I will not forget.
